ContentKeeper® Technologies has announced the launch of ContentKeeper® Mail (CK-Mail),
a brand new Software as a Service (SaaS) email security solution for enterprises.
The solution isolates spam, viruses and other malicious
email content in-the-cloud and delivers a “clean feed” to the enterprise,
ensuring that only clean emails enter the network.
Features include zero-hour virus protection against new and known viruses, anti-spam and anti-phishing controls,
content and image filtering, encryption, archiving and guaranteed business continuity.
“CK-Mail is a unique new approach to email security” says David Wigley, Managing Director of ContentKeeper®.
“It recognises and isolates malicious email traffic in the cloud, before it even reaches your network.
This can result in bandwidth savings often in excess of 30%,
as well as significantly reducing effort spent getting rid of unwanted email content.”
As the solution resides outside the company network, provided as a service, it requires no additional hardware purchase.
“We expect it to be very popular with large enterprises, government departments,
and other mission-critical organizations,” says Mr. Wigley.
“The main appeal lies in keeping malicious code at bay in-the-cloud.
This will reduce the strain on IT executives and allow them to attend to other security tasks more effectively.”
CK-Mail is now available for trial and purchase.
